Webinars and Workshops

We hosted two webinars in June to inform the project as we move ahead. The first webinar focused on the Carbon Policy/Markets, Project Design and Implications for Biochar Protocols, while the second dealt with Biochar Science, Feedstocks and Technologies. We took input from these webinars forward to the Biochar 2010: U.S. Biochar Initiative Conference in late June, where we officially launched our effort and solicited further questions and input from the biochar community.

We plan to draft a protocol in time for a stakeholder review workshop at the International Biochar Conference IBI 2010 September 12-15, 2010 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, along with additional workshops in North America.
